The goal of this course is to provide a basic introduction to the theory of digital signal processing. The outline of this course is given as follows.
I. Introduction to discrete linear systems
II. Characterization of discrete time systems
III. The Z transform
IV. Examples of digital filters
V. Discrete-time Fourier transforms
VI. The discrete Fourier transform
VII. The fast Fourier transform
VIII. Finite impulse response (FIR) filters
IX. Infinite impulse response (IIR) filters
X. Structures and properties of FIR and IIR filters
XI. Introduction to adaptive filtering
